Bio

My name is Jen and I’m a photographer from the Vancouver area — specifically a peaceful corner of south Richmond. I have ten years of professional photography experience and a background in graphic design. I'm drawn to colours, textures and patterns.

As a family, pet and lifestyle photographer, I'm your personal record-keeper, creating photos that capture your loved ones as they are right now — the personality quirks and subtle interactions that are forgotten over time. Each photoshoot is unique and customized for you.

As an event photographer, I glide around the room photographing excitement, smiling faces, and the atmosphere of a wide range of events. Anything from corporate breakfasts to piggybank fashion shows to weddings.

As a commercial and editorial photographer I take photos geared for marketing and publication. During the day I'm the photographer for Langara College's Communications and Marketing Department, planning and directing student shoots, capturing events and creating portraits. My photos have been published In Macleans, the Globe and Mail, the Province, the Vancouver Sun, cbc.ca, Montecristo Magazine, Metro and once even as the cover of the Georgia Straight.
